Do not hire any service from this company, they will charge you more days than what you rent: I encountered an issue with a car rental and its return, as the company attempted to impose additional charges for extra days. I would like to express my complete dissatisfaction with Avis Rent a Car Budapest.The company is attempting to charge us for more days than we have actually utilized. I do not recommend a company displaying such a lack of professionalism. The company initially stated that returning the car before 13:10 would exempt us from being charged for the last day, yet AVIS is now indicating that they will impose the charge regardless, causing significant inconvenience in this matter. Regarding the vehicle return matter, it is crucial to underline that the return deadline was strictly adhered to. The specific vehicle was returned on the 13th of August at 12:38, which is clearly well ahead of the 13:10 threshold, beyond which the subsequent day would be considered.This fact is corroborated by undeniable documentary evidence, including the record of the car's entry into the official parking lot and the completion of procedures by 12:52, officially stamped by the office. These documents confirm that the return was executed within the designated timeframe. However, it is of utmost importance to underscore the conduct exhibited by AVIS Budapest in relation to providing proof of the vehicle's return, which was profoundly unsatisfactory. Instead of promptly and transparently providing the documentation, we found ourselves needing to insist repeatedly to obtain the necessary records. This attitude raises serious doubts about the integrity and reliability of a company that appears to prioritize revenue generation through deceitful practices. It is regrettable to observe that a company engaging in such behavior does not inspire confidence, particularly when its focus seems to encompass not only imposing high fees but also failing to apply discounts for unused days of the vehicle, as evidenced in my case.The behavior of AVIS Budapest exacerbates when considering that, during the return process, there was no staff present in the parking lot to facilitate the procedure, in stark contrast to the availability of personnel from other companies in similar situations. This lack of commitment and customer care is particularly evident when compared to the presence of staff from other companies. Based on these events, it is undeniable that AVIS Budapest has demonstrated a pattern of behavior that is not only discouraging for users seeking dependable and transparent services but also casts doubt on the ethics and integrity of its business practices.Consequently, I cannot help but express my dissatisfaction with the experience provided by AVIS Budapest and its lack of commitment to facilitating and ensuring transparency in the vehicle return process. It is evident that, despite adhering to the agreed-upon conditions for the vehicle return, I encountered difficulties and unsatisfactory treatment from the company. In my firm opinion, a company exhibiting such behavior does not instill any confidence, as it appears to seek profit at the expense of questionable practices. In conclusion, I would not recommend utilizing a company with high prices that, furthermore, attempts to inflate costs and lacks commitment during critical moments, such as the return process.

Very poor experience trying to get assistance with this location. We tried to call, email, and submit a ticket to check on a lost wallet that is possibly left in the car. Poor and generic response regarding the ticket we submitted. Location did not respond to the email/phone. There was no response from the location until the vehicle had been rented out again. Its unclear if they will try to look for the wallet again once the vehicle is returned. Overall, lack of concern by this location on an urgent customer service matter. It would be nice if they tried to correct this situation.

Do not use their services, they’ve overcharged me by $ 1600.00 with absolutely no explanation my contract was $ 1200.00 for a month and they’ve charged $2280.00 plus an additional $500.00. I could have purchased a car for that much! Very poor services, do not recommend it to any one. I certainly will not ever rent from them again

Amíg egy hasonló térképet nem tudnak rátenni a honlapjukra, nem érdemelnek 5 csillagot. Egyébként jó a hálózat és a kocsi választék.
