Casual restaurant, full of regulars and locals as well as tourists. Good prices, good service. Food was tasty, and included many Hungarian classics. Duck was particularly good. Arguably too much cream on the puddings, which wasn't needed. Overall a good meal, would happily come back

Real home made cooking style, like your grandmother. Everything tasted perfect. Daily and regular menu. Prompt and super friendly service.We highly recommend the lplace!

Highly recommend. We got both the beef goulash stew and chicken goulash stew which were amazing! I think the chicken was slightly better, but both increíble. We got a Greek salad and tomato soup which we also superb.

Really nice place to have dinner while in Hungary. Authentic Hungarian cuisine. Food is well thought out and tastes delicious. Well worth visiting!

All the menus I ordered were delicious. Especially beef gulashi, duck steak, and beef steak were good. There was a tangerine sauce in the duck steak, it went well with the steak. The Greek salad we ordered together was also very delicious. I saw a review that only cash payment is possible, but I could pay by credit card. The staff was also very kind.

Visited Budapest last weekend from UK. Searched top ten restaurants and this place came up with great reviews. It was fantastic. Great service, small and cosy. Food was superb and great value. Thanks for a great night that contributed to a great weekend. I will tell my friends who visit Budapest that they should visit this place. The Duck breast in tangerine sauce was sublime and the Chicken thighs in bred crumbs with Peach compote where excellent. As I said, these meals were outstanding value and quality £7 to £8 value and good portions. I would expect to pay more than twice that in the UK. It is located down the side street in a nice part of the town near the parliament building away from the usual chains but a short walk from the city centre shops. It is a must. I was looking at other peoples meals and they all looked good.

Best dinner we had in Budapest. Menu was traditional Hungarian food. Wait staff was super friendly and nice. Everything we ate was amazing. We didn’t have a reservation and luckily got of table. But would recommend making a reservation a head of time. Highly recommend if you get a chance.

Loved this place. The service was fantastic (seems family run, everyone was jumping in to provide a great experience). Food was also fantastic. The duck was incredible and the best I had in my visit. My wife loved the pork Transylvania style. Highly recommend!

A friend recommended this place, and it didn't disappoint. Staff is very welcoming, they gave us a table without a reservation, and the place is pet friendly (they even brought a bowl of water for our dog). The menu is a fusion of Hungarian dishes and international cuisine, but simple and not pretentious. We had breaded mushrooms, grilled chicken with caramel-peach sauce, breaded pork chops and side salads. Everything was tasty and well prepared, and the portions are generous but not huge, so you don't feel stuffed.
