Outdoor Adventures Hungary

We had an amazing day kayaking at the Danube bend in Budapest. Giuri our host and guide was extremely organised and professional. He adjusted the day to suit our needs and made sure everyone was comfortable. Overall our family of five, I clouding our three kids of 14 year old daughter and 11 year old twins had an unforgettable experience.

Gyuri was an excellent tour guide for our hike in the Budapest hills. It was a challenging but very achievable walk/hike with stunning views. Highly recommended.

This trip is a must do. Gyuri was a wonderful guide, he had a lot of knowledge, was a lovely guy and did everything at our pace and vibe. Couldn't have asked for more. The hike itself was wonderful, the views and experience absolutely worth the sweat and for us, getting completely soaked in the rain!

Whether you live in Budapest or you are just visiting, I would highly recommend booking this tour, it is 110% worth it! I went on the One Day Wonder Hike and it was a well thought-out route that really showcases how beautiful the Hungarian nature is - stunning forests, rock formations, streams and viewpoints. Gyuri is such a kind and lovely person, he's patient, knowledgable and open to conversation. He brings snacks and makes sure to take pictures for memories. I am looking forward to joining the other tours (kayaking, etc.) in the future!

I was very impressed with the One Day Wonder Hiking Trip by Mr. Gyorgy KulcsarThis is a perfect opportunity to switch gears from city sightseeing to get familiar with Hungarian nature.Gyuri is a highly professional guide, he provided me with very detailed instructions prior to the trip, and during the trip adjusted to my pace and made it as comfortable and pleasant as it could be. He gave me a lot of interesting information about different species of birds and trees at the same time without interfering into my contact with the nature. The views from the summit and some other points were great and the canyon “add on” is a beautiful complement so I recommend not choosing the lighter option. The hike may be at times a bit strenuous for an infrequent hiker like me but is rewarded by magnificent views. The pictures that Gyuri made during the trip is a bonus and provides an extra look into my struggles and triumphs :)I highly recommend one day trips with Gyuri to the summit, canyon or elsewhere.

We did the Danube Bend Multi Adventure with Gyuri and had the most amazing experience. It was one of the best things we did while visiting Budapest! It was just the two of us in our group so we truly got a private experience and were able to go at our own pace during the hike and kayak. Gyuri was the most personable and knowledgeable guide. He was able to let us have our own experience while also chatting and joking with us throughout the day. He took amazing pictures for us and was a joy to spend the day with. It was such a nice way to experience the outdoors while visiting the city of Budapest. Cannot recommend Outdoor Adventures Hungary enough for an outdoor experience while visiting Budapest!

The best activity I have done in in Budapest! I regret not starting with this activity 7 days ago when I landed here, Gyuri was amazing very helpful, knowledgeable and also very considerate to the fact this was our first hiking (my sister and I), he picked us up and dropped us at our hotel as well, I can’t recommend this activity any more, and I can’t wait to bring my whole family to try this together, the breathtaking landscape views in the river with the Kayak left me speechless and almost cried lol! You have to try it if you ever in Budapest !!

I had a wonderful time spending the day hiking with Niki! I was a solo traveller and we ended up being a group of 4, which was an excellent group size. The hike itself was decently challenging as the day is long, but it was worth it for the view of the Danube bend and unique waterfall hiking trail. Niki was also a huge part of the experience as she is very knowledgeable about Hungary, took incredible photos during the tour, and was great in picking us up and driving us home before and after the hike. I was at first hesitant to book this hike because of the price, but the experience of the hike plus Niki’s expertise for the full day made it more than worth it. If you like hiking, have good stamina, and want to explore a different part of Hungary outside of Budapest, then I highly recommend!
