Rododendron Art & Design Shop

Brilliant design shop located in a small street in the middle of downtown. I amazed with the variety of different things you can buy and all of them with unique design and unforgettable style. I took special attention with the music was playing on. I spent a great time.

Great shop got an amazing self care journal in German (it had English and Hungarian Verisons).Radio appreciated the artworks by Hungarian local artists.The staff was super friendly an nice.Had a variety of beautiful items!Cute area

Best place for paper souvenirs from Budapest. Wide variety of posters, postcards and paper art. Definitely a must!

Tried to go to the shop twice in the same day (12:00 am & 15:00 pm) to find a note saying they will be back in ten min. Waited about 30 min and no one showed up. After knocking the door the second time, a guy came out and he said he was going for his break pointing the note that said “I will be back in ten min”. He didn’t even try listening to me when I was explaining I already came twice that day and waited for over 20 min… he just said he was going for his break and he was really rude. I strongly do NOT recommend this shop, the guy was just rude and he looked like he didn’t care about the shop. I founded a shop near by with nice original art called “Béla Magyar” which I do recommend. The lady there was really nice and the art is awesome.

Fantastic place to pick up local art, goods, and post cards. Store owner is very very kind and knowledgeable. She also knows a lot of cool and local places in Budapest. They accept Euros and Credit Cards. English speaking. Post cards are from 600 HUF to 800 HUF. Not the cheapest, but very high quality and supports local artists.
