Great place! We ordered goulash and salads, but not soup, just meat very tasty! I recommended this place for calm evening.

1st night in Budapest, found this little jazz cafe. Got there for about 9pm party of 4 and didn't have reservations. The waiter was very quick to turn us away but luckily the manager gave us a table. Ordered the breaded chicken with feta and it was good. A little on the expensive side for Budapest but not crazy. Would come again. Oh and the jazz band was very good.

Loved this place and probably my favourite Hungarian restaurant I’ve been to this time in Budapest. Delicious food and amazing atmosphere with live music. The price was decent too.

This is a very nice and relaxed traditional Hungarian restaurant. I had the beef stew, it was very tasty. All the waiters spoke good English and were helpful. I can recommend this place for sure.

Lovely atmosphere with jazz music every night at 8pm. The food could be better but the excellent service makes up for it! Portions are really large too.

What an amazing place to sample some great traditional Hungarian food. The staff were really friendly and accommodating to not only English speaking guests, but to the Spanish guests seated next to our table as well. Good service goes a long way and I'm glad I asked the waiter to recommend me the Pork Medallions because the pork was so tender and juicy. Must also try their goulash which was very hearty and a great starting dish. Their Chicken Paprikash was also a big highlight. The atmosphere was delightful and the live jazz just set the perfecy mood. Would definitely want to come back here one day and have no trouble in recommending.

An excellent café-restaurant. Exceptional food at reasonable price, cozy atmosphere, welcoming personnel who provide hospitable service, express real interest in the quality of ordered dishes, and require no service charge, unless the guest sees fit to it.The unexpected attraction of all? The three member jazz company, whose performance on a theatrical stage is by far unique and beyond all expectations.When in Budapest, avoid missing out on it!

Nice location for a romantic dinner, with live jazz music after 20:00 hour. The Gulas soup was very tasty.

Good goulash soup and average pörkölt, which could have more taste. The food has a strange heat distribution and is very hot inside, such that you have to be careful not to burn yourself. It therefore might be microwave heated. It has to be warmes up as it was pre-cooked, but the temperature could be better balanced out.

Lovely little restaurant. The decor and live jazz really set the atmosphere. The food is simple and the portions big. It's not trying to win any Michelin stars but everything was tasty and well cooked. All things combined I had the best night in Budapest.
