Budapest River Cruise

Amazing experience, it's a must to experience while in Budapest. We hadn't booked it until the day we decided to do it. They did several trips all day and seemingly the sunset cruise was the popular one and quick to sell out. Luckily we still got one around sunset time at 20:30 pm. It was gloomy all day so we didn't get to enjoy that dreamy sunset and skyline of Budapest but the highlight of this cruise was the hospitality during an hour of the cruise, the whole set up and experience of it, all the bridges and main sights lit up and it was a wholesome experience. Definitely give this a try.

9Euro. You get what you pay for. No info through speakers, just quiet ...A bit polluted from engine exhaust in the beginning..Would choose a more expensive option with drinks on a table.

Budapest is a lovely place to visit when you are in Europe. This is the Capital of Hungary. The locals are very warm and welcoming. Only difficulty is the language. They are very famous for their year round hot springs and The High End English Breakfast and the ever famous Goulash( like an Indian curry without chilli). The River Cruise is a sightseeing wonder. You can see the Parliament House high along the river. The capital is divided by the river . One side is the old city and the other is the new Budapest. There is a hop on hop off bus which you can book online or pay at the counter. It was a very good experience for me and my family. Best to stay for 2 days here. The sunset is really amazing. The place becomes even more beautiful when all the lights are turned on at night. Happy place to visit.

Just do the night cruise because it’s much more spectacular

Great! I love the you have the option to get off and discover Margaret Island, you also get a drink of your choice on the way to the island AND a glass of lemonade on the way back to the city. BUT it gets superhot on warmer days and the boat doesn't seem to have an AC, the windows are open though but it doesn't do much to the heat.
