They need to have more receptionists!The employees have and are very helpful and polite, but wait times are still brutal even after the new changes to the system.Now, if you want to apply for a resident permit you have to do it online. Online system has a number of issues itself.The worst part of this new online system is you still have to go in and get your biometrics and declare that every document you’ve submitted and your application is yours.Waiting for 20 numbers/applicants in the resident permit category still takes infinitely long (a bit over 2.5hours).Update: another year another joke of a system.Last year I submitted my resident card to be mailed to me, they screwed up the mailing address. This year I applied to have it picked up, but of course there is no notification whatsoever they will mail it to me. I had to spend 1hour at the immigration office to find this out.

I've lived in Budapest for years, and worked as an Immigretion secretary. The people have always been polite, helpful, and fair. The wait time is an atrocity, but come to the terms with it: legal and official processes take time, you're in the capital, and there's lots of people from all over who need help.They will take care of you, though. Go before opening and you'll be fine.

Hozzá nem értés, félre tájékoztatás, tragédia. Tipik magyar hivatali hozzá állás, azt keressük mit miért nem lehet. Megoldó képesség nulla.

Oh man, where do I even begin? It was a complete disaster! I had to wait forever, like six hours, just to get a simple paper. The whole place was a mess, and it seemed like they had no clue what they were doing.The waiting area was packed with angry people, and the staff didn't give a damn about it. When my turn finally came after what felt like an eternity, the receptionist woman was a total nightmare. She was lazy, and I cannot stress enough how lazy and rude they were toward us, like we were the problem.Honestly, the whole staff seemed to be on a mission to ruin our day. They were all so unfriendly and unhelpful; it felt like they were trying to scam us or something. It was just a terrible experience overall.I get that they have a tough job, but that's no excuse to treat people like garbage. If you can avoid going there, do it at all costs. It's better to find another way to get things done than deal with those jerks at the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.

I can't recall his name but, the officer, who accepted and started my residence permit application was very friendly, very kind and extremely helpful. He was young, wearing eye glasses, thin and tall, and was sitting on the counter 7.

Jövendőbeli új egyiptomi kollégával fordultam hozzájuk. Az ügyintézés nagyon komplikált, a honlap sokadszorra sem működött. Csak próbálkozzunk tovább, de gyorsan, mert egyéb iratok lejárnak. Nem vettek ujjlenyomatot és fotót, jöjjön vissza az ügyfél megint és várakozzon további 5-6 órát. Az ügyintézők készségesek, de a szervezés és a honlap egy katasztrófa. Kevés az ügyintéző, nagyon sok az ügyfél, akik általában komplikált esetek.

Nem értem a magyar rendszert, egy Eu -s állampolgárnak, miért az idegenrendészeten kell bejelentkeznie?!Németországban egy kis faluban, 5 perc alatt be lehet jelentkezni. Itthon 3 hét alatt semmit nem lehet elintézni mert az oldaluk egy nagy Nulla a köbön!!!! Szégyen, ami Itthon van!

Egy szimpla lakcímváltoztatással szórakozunk már lassan egy hónapja. A nagy digitalizálásnak hála hiába töltjük fel a létező összes dokumentumot hozzá, többször kérték ugyanazt újra, az aláírandó szálláshely bejelentő lapot pedig vagy harmadjára küldik vissza hibásan kitöltve, ami csak azért furcsa, mert online lett kitöltve, többször leellenőrizve, hibátlanul. Persze kapcsolatot nem lehet velük felvenni, újra kell kezdeni az egészet. Személyesen megjelenve sem segítenek. Csodálkoztam is, milyen gyorsan ment le az időpontért váró sor, ha egyszer csak hazaküldik az embert egyedül szenvedni az online felülettel. Tavaly még egy 10 perc alatt megcsinálták helyben.

No one in this office can give answer their why. Ask a new electronica registration (Enter Hungarian). Now after more than 1 Month still not back the registration and the valid address card. Personally you get no information in this office with the excuses the class chiefs are in break.Other case. friends after 3 Month not get the registration card! Nothing info can get there too. They give an E-Mail address where you never get answers.I collect now cases where in 90 days is not maiden the registration from EU Citizenship and will inform the European Commission about this praxis.
