The food might not be instagramable but it’s the best thing I’ve eaten in Budapest! Also half the price of the other food stalls in the market and the staff were really friendly.

Delicious, good price, about 2600 forint per meal. Staff very honest. Food tasty. Some good Hungarian classics. The stuffed cabbage was a big surprise. Delicious.

Do not try stuffed cabbage. It's expensive and tasteless. Only stuff potatoes has some taste.Also it's so expensive. I paid around 16€ (6300ft) for three dishes. Not worth it at all.

This was our very first meal in Budapest, and it was a lovely experience. The owners of the restaurant were so nice to us. I wanted to try the beef stew dish, but was too full, so I asked if I could pay for a little bit of it. They placed some on a bowl for me for free. That was a very kind gesture.The fish soup was something my wife thoroughly enjoyed.In this place, you get a literal panaroma of the famous Budapest Central Market.

Il mio posto preferito per mangiare al mercato, si trova al primo piano a destra entrando dall’ingresso principale. Abbiamo provato un po’ tutto, dal gulasch alle polpette, dal pollo alla paprika al cavolo farcito. Buona anche la limonata fatta in casa.

My first meal in Budapest was here. I had Goulash soup and it was served hot. Prolly not a very best option on a hot day but I have to eat like a local. It’s a good portion, I think two people can even share it together. The people behind the counter were friendly and they do accept cards! I like the vibe where you can eat it there and watch the people do some shopping.
