A cool place to have breakfast or brunch. It has nice outdoor seatings and the cafe is nicely decorated. The food is okay for me, a little bit pricey but not too much. They have some good food options. The staff is nice too and the service is fast. It’s also located nearby tourist attractions so it’s easy to find.

Lovely little oasis of fine coffee in a quiet courtyard off the thoroughfare. Coffee is first rate, food is good, with maybe a bit more attention paid to how it looks (amazing) than how it tastes (good).Well-made filter coffee! Avocado bread lacked some brightness - maybe a drop of lemon, some flakey salt, a toasted slice, a hotter egg… but I would definitely come back.

My recent visit to the restaurant in the center of Budapest's vibrant Astoria neighborhood left me utterly impressed and satisfied. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a truly unforgettable dining experience. The menu offered a delightful range of options, and I couldn't resist trying their highly recommended dishes—the Omlet and Shakshwka. From the first bite, it was evident that the chefs poured their passion and expertise into every dish. The Omlet was fluffy, perfectly seasoned, and filled with a delectable combination of ingredients that danced harmoniously on my palate. The Shakshwka, a dish I had been craving for quite some time, exceeded all expectations. The rich tomato sauce, perfectly poached eggs, and aromatic spices created a flavor explosion that left me craving more.To accompany my meal, I opted for an Iced Coffee, and I must say, it was a refreshing and satisfying choice. The balance of flavors, the smoothness of the coffee, and the refreshing chill made it the perfect accompaniment to the delectable dishes. One aspect that stood out during my visit was the reasonable pricing. Despite the exceptional quality of the food and the overall dining experience, the prices were quite reasonable. It's always a delight to find a restaurant that offers such high-quality culinary creations at an affordable price point. The location of the restaurant in the heart of Astoria is also worth mentioning. The bustling neighborhood, with its vibrant energy, added an extra layer of charm to the overall experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Budapest, this restaurant's convenient location makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. The attentive and friendly staff further enhanced my visit. They were knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and ensured that every need was met. Their genuine passion for food and hospitality shone through, making me feel like a valued guest. In conclusion, my dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The mouthwatering dishes, reasonable prices, and welcoming atmosphere combined to create a five-star experience. Whether you're a fan of breakfast delights like the Omlet and Shakshwka or simply looking for a fantastic dining experience in Budapest, this restaurant is a hidden gem that should not be missed. I can't wait to return and explore more of their culinary delights!

the atmosphere is so nice and the whole place looks very good, clean, the staff is nice. the drinks were good, but mediocre for their price. if i could give 3.5 stars, i would. paying 4200ft for an espresso tonic and iced matcha latte is a bit ridiculous...

Cozy place for brunch and coffe. Excellent food! Don't know about the coffee but by the looks of it, they seem to know what they're doing. The toilet is clean and smells nice. Would go again.

The worst Americano coffee ever. The wait for food was long and the food (vegan shakshuka) came burnt. Plus you pay 10% of service charge in Budapest, but you have to order at the till, so no service at all.

I was looking for a brunch area and this was suggested by the reception at the hotel I was staying at. It is a hidden gem. It is a self service to order but they will serve the food to your table. The courtyard it accessible for wheelchair but not inside the place nor the restroom. The staff where friendly.

Lives up to the hype, but expensive.Cool venue, nice service, tasty food. However the portion was small. For ~18 euro (7,000 Huf) I got one coffee, orange juice, and a small burrito. Fresh and flavorsome, but for that pricetag you expect a larger portion.Definitely high quality coffee!

Fekete is a small and cozy coffee shop with great coffee and a decent selection of brunch options. You have to order at the bar which is not really an issue. The staff are attentive and quite fast.I really enjoyed my batch brew and mint tea, which was a blend of different herbs. However, the food wasn’t well though out. I had eggs in a bowl of yogurt with chickpeas. The eggs were fine but putting them in cold yogurt didn’t really fit my taste and the chickpeas on top were too firm and hard to chew.Perhaps the other foods on the menu are better, but I certainly wasn’t blown away this time. However, if you are looking for a nice cozy coffee shop with delicious coffee, this is the place to go.
