Absolutely delicious food, very lovely staff. A hidden gem in Budapest. Kabab Torsh (lamb cubes with pomegranate&walnut sauce) is a must-try.

I had an amazing experience at رستوران دربند , an Iranian restaurant with delicious traditional dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience.

We are staying at Budapest for a few days and decided to try this restaurant tonight. It’s located in some sort of basement. it was a terribly hot and humid day and to be honest I was really excited before getting there. specially because we’d been on our way for half an hour to get there from our hotel and I couldn’t wait to get some cool and dry air. But… we immediately got shocked when we noticed the restaurant was even hotter and more humid than outside! It was literally boiling! the food was delicious but the heat affected the whole experience and unfortunately we didn’t enjoy at all. our faces were burning of sweat. We just wanted to finish as soon as possible and run away. The staff were kind and friendly.

Lovely place with amazing halal food. Our waiter was very polite, tentative and helpful. The only issue is that the place can get quite hot on a warm day.

Best Persian food in Budapest! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had beef, lamb and chicken. Garlic yogurt, fried eggplant with mint and yogurt. Everything was delicious and we couldn’t finish as the portions are huge. Definitely recommend going here.

We had a great time in darband restaurant. I ordered kebab torsh and my boyfriend get the vaziri kebab. Both of them were super delicious and in a very high quality and affordable prices also!We get the tea after our meal which was really flavored and i loved it. But Above all the service was amazing! Special thanks to Tania and pedram❤️ they were so nice and took a really good care of us that made our experience extremely pleasant.If you are looking for a persian cuisine with perfect food and service,darband restaurant is a must try!!Extremely recommend.

It is a cosy and nice place where you can taste iranian dishes with the nostalgic atmosphere which reminds you of the iranian culture. If you are a big fan of books, there is a library with lots of valuable books. Furthermore, during your experience there you can enjoy listening to the iranian music.

Great food and generous portions at Darband Restaurant! The Kebab Barg is a must-try. Service was friendly and efficient, making for a truly enjoyable meal. My only gripe is the location - it's in a basement with high humidity and poor ventilation. Despite that, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit.
