SCAM!!!Was approached by two women asking for a lighter outside Hard Rock Cafe (a little further up from this pub), one with blonde hair and the other Brunette. Making small talk about star signs, what we did for a living etc. They were flirty and asked if he wanted to join them for a drink, they talk us here and we suppressed any feeling we may have had about it being a scam as they seemed too nice! They ordered some shots (don't know what they were) and sparking wine... the total came to 116,000 FT for 6 small bottles of sparkling wine (which we later found for 1,200 FT in another bar and 10 shots!!!We believe the women work cohesively with the bar to bring in unsuspecting, gullible tourists!*** DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! ***

STAY AWAY! This happened to me on Wednesday. $400 bill for 3 rounds. I paid 1/3 of bill and let the 2 tourist girls" take care of rest (which they didn't because they work for the place).Any strangers who walk up to you and want to have a drink are setting you up! Most bars in Budapest are cheap by New York or London standards so no one looks at the prices. That's what they count on. Always check prices before ordering any where."

Very strange bar, had to sit in side area due to private party, but very few other people. Had one drink and left.

Shocking rip off joint, 2 girls struck up a conversation with me on the way in, we sat together and I had one beer, they were drinking like crazy. The bill came to 99,000 or $350 USD, I refused to pay 1/3. The waitress was in on the scam. I decided to pay 10,000, or $35 USD and left. Avoid this place at all costs. It's a shame they let this happen in this great city.I will publicize this on my travel blog which gets 70,000 visitors per month, at least I may be able to save some people.
