This place is more than a church; it’s a home.If you’re new in Debrecen or if you’ve been here for years, but you don’t have a church, I highly recommend the House Church. It’s a home full of kindhearted individuals. Many of us can’t go home as often as we wish, so having a family here in the church is such a blessing.The majority of the members as well as the workers in the church are international students, therefore pretty much everything is done in English. During the Sunday services the worship songs are sang in English and in Hungarian, and the sermon is usually preached in English and Hungarian. The friday Bible studies are usually in English. The church also has cell groups. Most of the cell groups are in English, but some are in different languages (eg Korean).If you’re a student, you’ll find that there are students from many different facilities at the church that may help you if you need help or advice regarding your academics. The church also has a library with a variety of books (academic books are included) that one can borrow.

Small Baptist church located in Debrecen, Hungary. Local college students from many countries are in attendance. Many local people are also attending this small church. Many hymns are sung with musicEach service is videoed for showing later. Pastor. Is Hungarian and visiting pastors are welcomed to speak. The facility is on the 2nd floor so some handicap facilities are inaccessible.

Very homely church! I love the praise nights! Gods presence is palpable!

A very vibrant community in Christ. Really wish I’d have gone earlier. If you’re new in town and you’re looking for a place to fellowship this is the place.
