Friendly staff, great selection, nice lounge!

Horrible service for a Cigar lounge. Centrally located next to the Basilica,however neither women there spoke English. Which considering they appeared to be working as cashiers for the other general sales of the shop. Not an indictment against them in of itself. Whomever is the owner ought to have a dedicated concierge specifically for the lounge or train one of them. I asked if I could smoke there was told no, nor was I even shown the Lounge.I asked if they could at least cut and light the cigar I had just purchased again a no. This is all after she was very impatient and uninterested in allowing me a bit of time to choose a cigar. All in all not what a cigar lounge should be. Opera Cigar do MUCH BETTER!Thank you Peter for responding to my review. And yes I was informed that your lounge is the only place to buy and smoke... I wasn't able to, without really understanding why?...quite disappointing. Are there specific times to buy and smoke in the shop? And I am not one to ever leave negative reviews, but as cigar lounge owner I am sure you can understand how unique and personal the experience of a nice smoke and lounge are. However as am will be staying here in Budapest I will visit again

Kifogástalan szivarozó hely, ahol a kollégákkal eldörrentettünk már jó pár szállal. A felszereltség is kimagaslóan sok lehetőséget rejt magában, gyakorlatilag bármilyen vágási vagy gyújtási formát preferálunk, az itt biztosítva van.

Firstly: I understand that lounges in Austria, Germany or the US provide a different level of service. BUT: this is Hungary, which has probably the most difficult and restrictive tobacco legislation in the world (trust me on that).That the team was even able to open a lounge is a legal masterpiece; and we as cigar smokers should be happy that the lounge exists and that we can smoke there. My recommendation shall always be given.To recapitulate (tl:dr). They CAN NOT serve drinks or sticks to the lounge, it is ILLEGAL in Hungary. They MUST charge the lounge fee, as it makes the transaction different legally.
