Its a bliss. Go there and see for yourself. That restaurant is a state of mind. Staff is highly intoxicated on palinka (very drunk) and makes funny (*if you have a sick sense of humor) jokes. What a joy. Food is terrible but we had a wonderful gypsy violin duo that looked like escaped convicts that played until we paid them to stop. Go and order something expensive and you will be suprised what can be served for that money. That restaurant is a gem. When you visit Budapest - stop by and go to Gallileo - its once in a lifetime expiernce. Highly recomennded. PS - some people complain that they lie about discount but they lie on being restraurant as well and that is super funny. Roland Topor would love it, Hrabal would go there every day and Cioran would get his own table. Go - you cant miss it! We paid at least four times it was worth, got insulted by the staff thrice, and would definetly come back. You get Stockholm Syndrom immidietly. Wonderful place. Full of laughter. And tears .

Dont go there, they are cheating the tourists. The girl at the front door promised 20% discount on all meal and wine, but in the end turns out to be only valid for some meal and bottled wine, not a glass of wine. The food was horrible, a mere cutted salad without any spices and taste was charged for 1500ft. The waiter was emotionless and kinda impolite. He deserved no way the service charge of 860ft we have to give. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

DO NOT GO HERE! Everything everyone else has said on here happened exactly to me and some friends tonight. They add random charges, they don't give you a drink menu and then when you get the bill the drinks are ridiculously priced, they charge for the sides on top of the price of the meal without telling you, they brought us out bread then charged us for it (we never ordered it), they tried to change the 50% off to 20% off... it was crazy! And every table around us seemed to have issues as well. We argued with them for about 45 minutes before they finally dropped the price, and they were extremely rude.Do yourself a favour and stay far FAR away.

Don't GO there!!!There are BIG difference of the amount between the information staff gave discount price due happy hour and casher male gave us the price. This price is included huge chip even though we couldn't' get good service from them.

Typical tourist trap - worst food I have ever eaten... do not make my mistake ... please.

Tourist trap if you get talked to outside. We were 7 people, almost nobody liked their food. :/Maybe better for dinner in the evening inside.

Front staffs say we can 20% discount for all drinks and foods, but they said 20% for beer only after eat.And they say that we can pay by card before take a table ,but actually we had to pay by cash only. We don't have any money. They say you have to taking some money from cashing machine.They say repeat no card

Do not go there!!!The food was okey but nothing i will recomend. The staf was TERRiBLE!!!Grumpy, did not pay attension, and after asking for the bill we waited for about 20 minuters. We tried to get some contact whit the staf but they ignored us. In the end I walked inside and dimanded to get the bill.. I was told to go back to my table. Shortly after a waitor came with a hand-written bill that we could not make sence of...After asking and then argumentet whit the vaiter we paid and walked away but the evning was runind...

Tourist Trap. Outside they promise 20% discount, then we didn't get that discount when we payd. They didn't bring us the food that we order because it was finish... they served us other kind of food without ask. Food not bad, so we can save the cook.

Totally agreeing w/ the worst reviews !! By the looks of it,things haven't changed at allover the years.We ordered 1 x goulash,which was 990 huf, and two large beers (1 ltr each),of which the prices were unknown when we ordered (not listed).All in all I reasonably expected a total sum of let's say 3000-4000 huf or so.We were sat outside and when it started to rain,and we got wet,we asked for the bill.Not only did they let us wait (in the rain go figure) WAY too long,also on top of that misery they shuffed a bloody bill (a dirty piece of paper w/ unclear writing on it) of 6700 huf under our nose for them 2 large beers and a cup of soup !! Criminal.Avoid at all costs please.
