Didn’t expect to find this gem! Food was authentic and delicious. Had to wait lass than 25 minutes and the staff was very friendly. Coming back for more the next time I’m in Budapest.

We were serenaded with beautiful music by beautiful people. There is live gypsy music on the weekends. The food was wonderful and the service was fantastic. I am so happy we stumbled upon this place. Everything was wonderful!

Authentic Hungarian dishes, very very tasty Goulash, Pork dishes.Apple Strudel was amazing.Traditional walnut cake and whippcream & chocolate sauce was not our taste3/5, too sweet.

We had Halászlé soup and it was very bad. The soup tasted like water, so it was probably very diluted, there was only one piece of carp with lot of bones and unpealed fully from scale. The worst halászlé we got ever. The goulash soup was nice though. The stuff was nice.

Best service, great prices, we wanted some traditional Hungarian food and this restaurant delivered! Thanks for looking after us, the tripe and the perchpike (Zander) were excellent, as was the Hungarian traditional digestif. Great first night in Budapest, thanks!

Food was delicious. Did not make a reservation but managed to get a seat inside for dinner. There was a live band too. Staffs were accommodating.

A cheap tourist here. I went to this restaurant, ordered a beer, goulash soup and wanted to get their pancakes, but they offered me a sponge cake instead (I accepted, was kind of a blunder) Thr food overall was great. But the total price kind of shocked me. Not only they charge for the sponge cake 1600 Ft. (which I didn't know, didn't even find it on the menu) they also added a 10% service fee on top of that. So I paid... way more than I wanted to. If it weren't for this, would have given 4 or even 5 stars.Not minding that the service was pretty good and the atmosphere aswell.Also the sponge cake had raisins.

Really delicious food! We didn’t know what to expect as there is only one opinion but at the end we were positively surprised! We ordered appetiser, goulash soup and homemade lemonade. Everything was super tasty, lemonade was one of the bestest I have ever drunk. The waiter was very kind. Just keep in mind that the service fee is already in the whole check. We didn’t see and left the tip twice.
